Doris Musick

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Ms. Musick has three books to her credit; an historical fiction entitled “The Starched Apron” released in 2005. Her second book “Up the Water Spout” bring us to Washington County, VA and includes portions of Greene County, TN and the latest “Come Saturday.”

After many years of residence in a lakeside community knows as Brandermill just outside Richmond, VA, Musick and her husband opted for early retirement and a return to the mountains they both love. She now resides in a secluded section of Russell County in a home she shares with husband and numerous pets

For a period of years Musick was Field Editor for COUNTRY Magazine. She continues to be a regular contributor and her articles appear several times each year. Her hobbies include painting and her works are often a part of various book-signing events.
